What is RSS?
RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, including major news sites like The New York Times, BBC, ABC, and ESPN. Once information about a site is in RSS format, an RSS-aggregator application program can provide you with any changes that have occured on the site.
The Benefits
Never miss another edition of Field Crop News. Field Crop News’ XML Feed ( RSS 2.0) will keep you informed whenever new content appears on this site.
RSS-aggregator Applications
Download an inexpensive newsreader application like Nick Bradbury’s FeedDemon (Windows), Ranchero Software’s NetNewsWire (Mac), or the free Amphetadesk (Free for Windows, Mac, or Linux). Once the application is installed, copy and paste the URL of the news feed into the application’s “subscribe” or “add a channel” dialogue.
